The first few weeks at home with a newborn is exhausting, and you deserve a nap! The best time for your newborn session is the first 25 days of life. Read my last blog post to see what makes that time frame so important. The last thing you want to worry about is getting ready for a photography session. At Megan Matula Photography, newborn sessions are stress free and enjoyable. Some photography sessions can be a little overwhelming to prepare for, but this one isn’t.
Worried about what he’ll wear?
Don’t be! I have all the props we will need for the session in my studio. My collection of props, hats, and outfits is always growing. While I’d love to include your favorite hat or a knit blanket made by grandma, there is no need to worry about props if you don’t have any on hand.
Worried if she’ll poop or pee on me?
Don’t be! Babies pee. Poop happens. I’ve been snuggling babies for over 10 years, and their poop doesn’t bother me. (That’s what dreft is for.)
Worried about all the little details?
Don’t be! Let me pose baby and perfect the tiny details. With over 200 little one’s in my studio, perfecting my art is one of my favorite parts of the job.
Worried she won’t sleep or be fussy?
Don’t be! Did you know that babies sense when moms are stressed out? Relax, and she’ll relax!
Worried about your baby’s safety?
Don’t be! I have 10 years experience as a NICU nurse, and will make sure your little love is safe and happy the whole time!
Some of my favorite images happen when parents say “we love your work, and trust your artistic eye.” The key to a successful session is to follow the flow of baby. Relax, let me handle the details, and trust my experience to provide you with the beautiful gallery you hire me for.
You’re tired, Mama. Sit back, relax, enjoy a cup of coffee or take a nap. This will be one of your favorite photo sessions!
